Trove brings together the artwork, collected objects and evolving practice of artist Carolynne Hamdorf. A studio and shop in Natimuk, Victoria.

Trove is a space of making and remaking, where wax meets timber, thread meets story, and old materials find new form.
Each piece carries traces of its past, transformed through the exploration of ideas and exploration of materiality.

Trove constantly evolves, a curated mix of found treasures and Carolynne’s own work.
It shifts with the seasons and with the quiet influence of the natural world. Once a theme has been explored, the materials reimagined and the work complete, it makes way for what comes next.

Echoes of the 60s and 70s linger: bursts of colour, nostalgic fabrics and those small, joyful “dopamine hits” of memory, a nod to grandma’s sewing box or a favourite retro print. Bright hues might fill the studio one season, only to fade into rusts, ochres and soft neutrals the next.

Everything here is in transition, a tactile response to the outside world and the way Carolynne makes sense of it through her work.
